We’re a Finalist! 🎉 Thank You for Voting for The Piano Pod
Dear Friends of The Piano Pod,
I’m overjoyed to share this exciting news with you:
The Piano Pod is officially among the Top 3 Finalists for Best Video Podcast in the 2025 Quill Podcast Awards!
Out of thousands of submissions across all genres, our show has been recognized as one of the very best—and this milestone would not have been possible without you.
To every guest, listener, supporter, sponsor, and friend: thank you for voting, cheering us on, and believing in this platform. Your encouragement continues to help bring classical music into new conversations, to new audiences, and onto a global stage.
The final winners will be announced on May 27, and we will keep you posted!
In the meantime, there’s still more to come before we wrap up this fantastic season:
A new episode will air on May 20. It features pianist-arranger Eleonor Bindman, whose authentic yet groundbreaking transcriptions and recordings are transforming how audiences of all backgrounds experience J.S. Bach's music. She’s redefining accessibility while deepening appreciation for Bach’s genius.
Two more episodes are left after Eleonor’s episode in Season 5, including a special collaboration with Juneteenth LP. The episode features two phenomenal Black female artists—Dr. Leah Claiborne and Dr. Maria Thompson Corley—sharing powerful insights on inclusion, artistry, and purpose.
Season 6 premieres in September 2025, after a brief summer hiatus. It will continue our core authenticity and Joy with fresh new themes and bold voices.
And this fall, we’re bringing the podcast to life—The Piano Pod: Live in Concert debuts in October at The New School, in collaboration with Mannes Prep—an evening of live performances, storytelling, and community connection that will also be available in video and audio formats.
