After months of preparation for The Piano Pod’s October 4 live event, I’ve finally been able to return to a different kind of work — writing. (I can’t count how many hats I wear these days…) Welcome back to the “Behind the Mic” series. For the past few months, I’ve been revisiting a story I’ve carried for years, one that reshaped how I see freedom, belonging, and identity. It’s a part of my life I haven’t shared publicly yet — one that marked me in ways I’m still learning to articulate.
